Savouring Bacolod’s 19th century sugar producing heyday. One may see what sugar can do to a place. Although not entirely sweet, it brings flavor and highlight to the original the residence of Victor Gaston, the eldest son of Frenchman Yves Germaine Leopold Gaston who developed the sugar industry in northern Negros. The house we shot on prides itself with the antiques ranging from the sugar-baron days of the old to the 80’s era. Walls are lined with old sepia photos of family members ranging from their grandfather’s grandfather to the latest addition to the generation of the sugar baron…now onto the pix….
